: While at the home show this weekend, I saw a vendor that
: was advertising tub and shower surrounds made from solid sheets
: of cultured marble material. A standard surround would basically be 3 pieces of
: the sheet stock butted at the corners and to the top of
: the tub, then caulked at all the seams to make a leak
: proof surround. The contractor was advertising complete installations
: including labor. It looks like a nice set up, but a little
: expensive compared to traditional "out of the box" shower
: surrounds.
