I have a fiberglass shower pan setup and have had a recent problem with water dripping thru downstairs. Pulling back a few of the bottom tiles revealed water damage to the wallboard (in some places up to 3 tiles high). The problem seems to exist on all 3 tiled walls. Does this sound like a case of bad groutwork, or something more involved? Would regrouting be OK given the (moderate) damage to the wallboard behind, or should I think about replacing the drywall also? Thanks. |
