Leanne: At 2 miles up in the air (10,650')and really cold weather LP Gas can be a problem unless you plan to keep the tank from being out in the elements.
My guess is that you would do well to consult with someone in your locale that is familiar with LPG installations and the critical altitude considerations.

I want an energy-efficient hot tub for our open deck in Fairplay, CO (10,650 ft.). Please comment on the use of propane to heat a hot tub. Where can I purchase a propane=heated hot tub? Other considerations?
