We had the tub reglazed at our old house and it was peeling within a couple of years. As we had very nice ceramic work surrounding the tub I didn't want to rip it out, so the next thing we did was install a tub liner (fiberglass). It is a fine solution for about 10 years, but like most fiberglass fixtures you just can't expect it to look good 30 years from now. It maintained a nice appearance much longer than the reglazing.
