The only way is to open the floor and cut off the pipe to the toilet, assuming that it goes towards the back of the toilet. There is a good chance that there is a floor joist next to it and the connection was made without notching the joist. Remodeling my bath in 65 year old house. Replacing toilet, but rough-in from the ancient times is about 17 inches. New toilet is about 6 inches away from the wall. How can I get the toilet up against wall. Does anyone make a toilet with rough-in greater tha 14 inches? Note this is not the last toilet on the drainage line. Thanks
