: I just purchased a new home with a 1 piece fiberglass LASCO shower unit installed. It's not even 3 months old and about 8-9 hairline cracks are appearing in different spots on the shower floor. The plumber does not want to replace the unit due to the expense and logistics of trying to get a new unit into the house and bathroom. He wants to have the floor repaired but I am not sure if it will ever be good as new. How can these units be repaired and how reliable is the repair?

The person to ask, would be the one doing the repair. Many of these repairs work just great.
If the base of the shower feels solid, that is the main thing. A solid feeling base should repair well. If the base has flex in it, try to take the flex out by filling between floor and shower base. I like something like plaster or mortar. Terry
