: Hiya..i have been told that the easiest way to properly pitch drainage pipes are by using a block of wood taped to level...how does this work, does level size matter?, and what size block of wood goes under the level?? thx ...any comments appreciated :):)

1/4" per foot.
Works out to 1" on a four foot level.
