I am looking into water softening myself and have been wondering about magnetic systems. Here is a link to a company that manufactures chemical free water softeners, and there are many others if you do an internet search for water softeners. I'd like to know what Terry has to say about these types of systems. : I am wanting to put in a water softner. I have heard so many pro's and con's. Some say you can't drink the water or use it to water plant's, grass, tree's etc. : We have very hard water. Do you hook it up to the hot water only? Any adivise would be appreciated.
