: I'm purchasing a new front loading washer and dryer which will be installed under-counter. My water and drain pipes will need to be moved down to fit under the counter (probably 6 inches). Do you foresee any problems making this move? Secondly, I'd like to be able to push the units closer to the back wall but, how do I make these plumbing fittings flatter to the wall?

You make the fittings flatter to the wall by removing the nipple at the fitting that is inside the wall, and shortening it, or by turning the fitting that is inside the wall to a 45 degree angle. Call a LICENSED plumber in your area for a professional job that won't leak.
