I heat with an oil furnace and last winter we started to have problems. It will run fine for awhile, then it will start to make noises when it is turned on. Noises are like it has a fuel over load, and produces smoke. We have to change the nozzle often, and the injectors are cleaned and set. We have cold winters and the fuel gets thicker. The whole system hasn't been cleaned for awhile. I was wondering if I have been getting some dirty fuel? I was told the fuel is the same for summer and winter. Is this correct? Any help will be appreciated.
