Thanks for responding to my question. To me, code equals safety and safety is my prime concern. You have listed /expanded concerns and issues which prompted my question. I have already hired a professional installer and pulled the necessary permits(which you suggested). Inspection should happen next week and I will post any issues and corrective actions required.
