If the glaze is flaking off, then a new finish would just adhere to it and fhe porcelain would still come loose under it. reglazing is only worth the effort and cost when the sink or tub is difficult to remove and replace. A bathroom sink should be neither unless it is tiled in. : Our bathroom sink is chipping in a few places in the bowl. We tried applying porcelain touchup glaze, : but it is not very effective. The glaze peels off in layers. Should we replace the sink or should we get it : professionally re-glazed? What is cheaper?
