I am putting in a new Grohe shower system, and it is recommended to have a 3" drain to cope with the water volume. Unfortunately, my local cultured marble guy only has molds for 2" drains. a) Are molds available to accomodate 3" drains? b) Is a 2" drain sufficient to cope with a maximum of 18 gallons per minute?
