The first stage pressure can be between 2 and 10 pounds but the second stage is 11 to 13 inches of water column. Low pressure natural gas systems operate at 6 inches of water column. If it is a medium pressure system then the first stage will be between two and five pounds but the secondary regulators will then reduce it to 6" at the device. : I was wondering what residential propane systems ran pressure wise(tank,after i stage reg, after second stage reg)What do nat gas systems run after the meter.
