Probably the main problem is the lower element, although when it fails, it can also damage the thermostats. : The water from my hot water heater has suddenly gotten very hot and lowering the thermostat settings does not solve the problem. Also, the breaker kicks out freqently now. Any ideas as to the problem? Thermostats or elements? Thanks for any help.
