If you have a water softener, place it on bypass and you should find the squealing disappears, otherwise it may be a pressure regulating valve. : I need to know what is causing a squealing sound anytime the water supply is turned on or off. It happens with any water supply unit. IE . the tolilet, the faucets, etc
