After a week of throwing laundry down my 2nd floor laundry chute, I discovered none of it landed in the basement! It's stuck in the middle of the chute, and I can't get it to go down. It's impossible to view up the chute from the basement bin, but I can see it from the upstairs opening. The door to the chute is in my bathroom, on the wall; a very small door. The chute is approximately 16" x 16". I tried to push it down with a yard stick. It moved but did not continue down the chute. Any suggestions on how I can get my laundry out of there!!!??? (This is in the upstairs flat of a house built in the early 1900's.) Thanks, |
