The tool that assembles the fittings will also disassemble them. You may be able to rent one at a tool rental company.
: John: I don't think you understood my question! The new pipes will be installed with the screw down rubber fittings, that's not the problem! The problem is, on the old pipes, there are these rubber gaskets that fit around the male end of pipe and then slide into the female end! They are not leaded couplings, just this rubber seal. How do I remove this seal and male end from the female end which will be reused with the new piping! Any suggestions?????
