: I have a number of castiron fittings to remove, they are sealed with a rubber fitting. How do I remove the old pipes without damaging the fittings that will have new pipes installed. This is undergroung piping covered with concrete. Can I use rubber tie ins. Any other advice in this area would also be greately appreciated. Thanks and look forward to your reply! YOU CAN REMOVE THE RUBBER FITTINGS BY USING A 5/16 NUT DRIVER ON THE STAINLESS STEEL CLAMPS, THEN REMOVE THE OLD RUBBER FITTINGS AND USE NEW RUBBER FITTINGS WHEN DOING YOUR WORK.
