water pressure problems - please help

Strange problem. Have a two-story house. Remodeled the upstairs bathroom. In doing so, I shut off the main water to the house. Turned the water to the house back on, but now I get almost no water pressure to upstairs (kitchen and bathroom). The water pressure to the downstairs fxtures is fine. What can it be?
