Most of those tubs have a build in kit available to allow them to be installed in the proper sized opening and have the drywall terminate on the tub so you could use it as a shower. : Are there any whirlpool tubs (big enough for two people) that one could install a showerhead above with having the water from the shower run out to the floor? All the ones we've seen have the tub lip designed to go over the tile, making a shower impossible. Your HydroSwirl installation guide mentioned an optional drywall thing that sounded like it might do it. Many thanks for any assistance! : P.S. I would think manufacturers would be able to sell a lot more whirlpools if they fixed this limitation since so many people might have room for a tub, but not to also add in a separate shower stall.
