|In response to Re:Moen Shower Faucet|
The diverter shuts off the spout and sends the water to the shower head. Unless the diverter is malfunctioning and is not popping all the way out, then the problem is in the valve itself. Possibly the valve is installed upside down which would confuse the flow control device inside the valve. If this is the problem, there is no solution without removing and inverting the valve.
: Posted msg on 7/14 about Moen shower faucet. I changed the diverter but that hasn't completely solved the problem. I still have water coming from the showerhead even when the diverter isn't activated. Someone replied and said that the pipe/valve that the diverter fits into is probably worn to the degree that water is seeping around the diverter. Can anybody out there tell me how to change that pipe? Thanks.
