|In response to Re: replacing shower stall|
: I want to replace an old shower stall, it's begun leaking into the hallway outside the bathroom. It's over thirty years old. Can you tell me websites where I could look at different types of replacement showers. I've been told there are types that come in pieces and you don't need a mortar bed. Where would I get them from. And is this a fairly uncomplicated do-it-yourself project for a fairly skilled do-it-yourselfer?
Look above for search by subject and shopping, also check Bathroom supplies in your local area. Also look at jetted tubs which you can install, and place panelized pieces of shower wall around it. Contact three LICENSED plumbers in your area for estimates and listen very carefully to how they describe the work. Does it sound like a "do it yourself" deal?
