If the local code requires a long turn bend, it is usually where a vertical pipe becomes a horizontal one or at a horizontal turn. Any bend can be used as a closet bend, they just usually take up too much elevation to be practical. : i am helping a friend plum his new house. : My first question is where does code require a long turn 90 to be used? : Also can a LT 90 be used instead of a closet bend? : Thanks : Ross
