![]() : I have to replace the water pressure regulator in my house. Is there anything special I should know before attempting this? I know to turn the water off before and after the meter, hold the nut on the nipple that comes from the meter into the regulator while turning the regulator loose. I don't know if I have to replace the nipple (looks pretty good). Put some pipe dope on the new connections. Anything else? Thanks. John, John, If the pipes look good, you can reuse them.
