By the time you get done, you should have spent more than the cost of a portable, unless you intend to have a rustic looking unit. First you need four sides and a top, then a set of casters, and, finaly, a water supply/drain combination that will uncoil and attach to a faucet. : I know converting a built in diswasher unit to a portable unit can be done but I am not so sure how difficult the project would be. I know it would save a lot of money, the portable prices are outrages. : I have some plumbing background, is this doable by a do-it-yourself person such as myself? : Thanks, : Chris
