: I have a shower stall that has been a problem since the builder finished it. He has rebuilt it twice and now about 5 years later I have another problem. It is a tiled stall with concrete board underneath. I have a leak that is coming from underneath the threshhold. I can actually see the droplets ooze from the corner. I have caulked the area filling any spaces. I cleaned out any loose grout inside the tub on the floor, regrouted and put a fairly wide bead of caulk all around the stall. I can't imagine where the water is originating. Could it be where the drain fits the trap. Any help would be appreciated.

There are many things that could cause leaks. To test the pan, plug the drain and fill the pan with water. let set for a day. Check all faucets plates for sealing.
