The water will evaporate from the air in the plumbing pipes inside the wall. If you are on a sewer system, put a little automobile antifreeze into each drain. If you add it to the water it will discourage evaporation, and if you remove the water and just use the antifreeze, there will be no evaporation.
: We live in Fl. Going away for 3 months. Our home has ac. We have been told to cover our toilets with saranwrap, also the traps to prevent the water from evaporating. Other than having someone come into the house and turn on the water do you have any other suggestions?
