Noisy Drain Pipes

New two story house. When any of the upstairs toilets or showers etc. are running you can hear (downstairs) the water running down the drain pipes. When the toilets flush it sounds like it is all dropping on your head. What can we do to muffle or eliminate the noise. If needed I am willing to bear the expense of opening up the walls to insulate, wrap, foam, etc.

The next problem is the air condtioner condensation line drip noise coming out of the sinks that are commonly hooked into the same drain. Code requires the a/c line to be hooked into the drain. All a/c units are in the attic off the second story and the sound coming from the sinks downstairs is loud.
