|In response to Re: Corrigated tin shower stall|
: Does anyone have experience with installing corrugated steel panels as a shower stall? I would like to try this and would appreciate any help.
Corregated steel panels are coated with Zinc. any slight scratch in the zinc from screw holes or nail holes are susceptible to rust where the zinc coating is broken. Bath soap is caustic when mixed with water, shampoo and conditioner is caustic or acid. Windex or cleaning compounds have ammonia in them as the active ingredient. The combination of these chemicals as normally used in the home require that materials such as zinc coated metals not be used.
