In response to Re: Toilets in the attic
: Does anyone know of a "new" toilet that can be fitted into an attic that can send its waste to normal water drains and not normal sewage waste drains.

There are new "composting " toilets that can be fitted into an attic and there are "new" Envirolet Incinerator toilets that cook the waste in an environmentally friendly manner, there are Oriental floor drain type toilets that can be fitted in an attic, and there are waster heater Bidet's that can be fitted into an attic. Almost all normal water drains in a residence are also sewer waste drains. In commercial buildings a storm drain is sometimes available, and if that is what you are talking about, it is forbidden to dump sewage waste into such a drain. The reason is because of coliform and bacteriological waste contamination as well as solid waste matter that requires grinding and clorine treatment before it is considered safe enough to drop into the ocean. Very heavy environmental cleanup fines are being levied upon waste and sewage waste illegal dumpers. You want to be VERY CAREFUL with this subject .
