Installing a euro style dishwasher

I bought a dishwasher that has a ~7/8" water connection
and cannot find any connection to fit it.

I have tried Std. Pipe thread, and Water hose and both
go on about one turn and stop.

Is this Metric, can I get an adapter?

Please help I bought this at Colder's in Millwaukee
and the manual was not in the box and they have a 48hr.
return policy. They will not help further, other than
getting me a manual within 15 days.

PLEASE help I hate doing dishes by hand!
