| In response to Re: Sizing water service at 250 feet and 40 PSI... | |
![]() : Can anyone tell me what the fixture unit allowance for a 250' developed length at 40psi would be with a 1" meter and 1.5" service and main distribution branch? I have 44 fixture units and am installing 1.5" pipe at the recommendation of the inspector, but a check with the utilities folks shows that the pressure at the main isn't so great so I only have a little over 40psi left at the top fixture in the house. Consulting the tables that I have (I don't have a copy of the UPC) I find that I don't see much information for 1x1.5 service. : If anyone out there has a UPC handy and can look this up for me I'd appreciate it! : thanks! UPC 30-45 PSI at 250 feet with 1" meter |
