My water heater will only heat/come on when control is rotated full CCW (the highest setting). The heater worked perfectly until recently when it was set back to vacation setting (low) and then returned to a normal (hot)setting. In other words, the sensing mechanism does not sense that the water in the heater needs to be heated and therefore it does not cause the heater to fire up. What portion of the operating control has failed and can it be replaced? |
