: I used Silicone to seal the two parts of a fiberglass tub and surround together. The seal looks good but there is a thin uneven residue from wiping the caulk while wet in the seam, the residue is on either side of the seam.

That Silicone is pretty cool stuff. The finger nail scratch works pretty good, or a razor blade with a safe side to it works too. Verrry easy to scratch it that way though. Terry
