Replacing a shower

I'm in the middle of planning the replacement of a 30"x60" ceramic tile shower. The shower also has a 36"x36" window. I plan on replacing the window with fixed glass blocks, so that the new shower material will be flush with the window. However, my wife and I are having a difference of opinion. One of us wants to re-do the shower with ceramic tile, while the other one wants to install solid surface walls and shower pan (Corian or Swanstone). What would the install cost be for those options? Do you have any opinions on the options available to us?
