The plus of acrylic is that in the larger sizes, that, or fiberglass are the only materials used. If it is a conventional size that also comes in cst-iron, then that would be my preference. Plastic tubs in any material can lose their sheen after years of cleaning and will never get it back. : My wife wants a tub for our remodel that only comes in acrylic. Maybe they're better now but I'm kind of skeptical. What are the plusses and minuses on acrylic vs. cast. : Gus
