Does anyone know the performance impact of negative pressure in a water-source heat pump? The setup I'm thinking of would cause the pressure through the WSHP to be about -5 to -10 psi.

Thanks

I don’t think a siphon effect will draw enough water through for proper heat exchange. You can’t suck water very far but, you can push it a long way. The siphon will reduce the head required and allow the use of a much smaller pump but, I still think you will have to pump some.
