What orientation are wyes allowed to be used when connecting to main drain lines? (0-90) degrees?
Vent connections? (45-90)degrees?

Maybe I should have asked: At what angles can a wye be rotated when connecting to a main drain line? My understanding of code is that for venting, that the wye should be above the water line of the pipe, 45 degrees or more; but if I am connecting a 2" shower drain into a main drain line, what angles of rotation are permitted? Does it meet code as long as the wye is rotated to maintain 1/4 inch per foot (1.19 degrees) fall?
