Would a P trap and vent like this work?

Wondering if I can do a trap and vent as pictured below. I searched around, but couldn't find anyone asking for this specific configuration. From what I've read, it *seems* like this would be acceptable since it would block sewer gasses, and the water would not siphon out the trap. but I wasn't sure if there was a minimum distance required after the trap before the vent.

This issue is that the vent *must* go in the wall that's directly behind the tubs drain.
There's another way to do it (set the trap the other way, and then loop back) but this is easier, and if it meets code, I'd much rather use it.
