Winterizing older toilet

Hello,
How much antifreeze should be used to winterize the trap of an older, 1950's toilet? (cold northeast climate).
I already completely empty the tank, so just concerned about the trap. Any additional advice appreciated, thanks.

Pour a gallon of RV antifreeze in the bowl. Make sure it's RV not automotive.

As much as it takes to fill the trap. When the level stops rising it is full.
