I'm looking at an EQ-1000 Aquasana Rhino whole house water filter system.

Anyone here have any experience with them?

Any input would be welcomed.

What is in the water that you are trying to filter out?

Our water is treated with ALOT of chlorine and is not the best-(Chicago water).

We have 35 psi.

Thanks.

I would think a backwashing activated carbon filter followed by a water softener for your 7 or 8 grains of hardness would be a nice combo for you. I don't know about the system you are looking at, but I looked it up. It looked fancy. It also looked proprietary. That usually means expensive initially, but more expensive if you need service.
