Anyone have experience with making your own whitewash formula?
Info is available but I want to see if anyone has a formula that works well?
I have some interior white Benjamin Moore and of course
plenty of Kilz primer to work with.

Should I just water down the BM? What part 1.water2.paint?
Makes sense to test it first.....I guess.

I need to lighten up a few pieces because the laminate floor is now finished!
And the color is maple. (blonde)

thanks...

 Hey Mikey, you might check the Whitehouse website and get the whitewash formula President Bush has been using. On second thought, maybe not, it doesn't really cover that well.:p

You know what I find fascinating about your post Gary? According to my calculations you could have used the exact energy spent typing as it would require to smoke a cigarette, change your underwear or sweep your porch.
And the product would have been far superior. imnsho.

But I'm giving you a B+ grade for finding a way to slip in a little lefty elitist rant which of course feeds into your delusions of magnificence. God...it must be gratifying to be you....
:D

I like it. Makes me feel like the left coast just may have a chance, but then I'm a political junkie anyway.

Sorta surprising to see 2 left coasters going at it. ;)

I'm a native left coaster-we never go "up there". He's Pacific Northwest. Where the men are men and the sheep are nervous.
