Which shower raincan to get?

Hi-

I'm doing some preliminary research. Really would like to install one of those 12" rain can type shower heads.
The online options seem to be Pegasus (********* special order or ****) or AllBrass (in polished nickel).

Have any of you had experience with either brand, or another brand you would recommend or that matter, with the style-
the raincan? How much difference does it make to go from 10" diameter to 12" diameter? Does it matter that some manufacturers
use silicone nibs in the water holes and others do not? Asking because we have pretty hard water in our area.

Pegaus faucets and fittings may changer over and over again.
I don't think there is a web page devoted to them. You will just have to buy it and see.
