Hello, thanks for the forum.. I have been reading through other peoples issues and setups to see if I could find the same thing as mine.. didn't seem to have anyone with my experience.

My well is a hydropneumatic system with a ozotech ozonator and iq-20 dryer (which don't appear to be even working) and a pentair filter with a fleck 2510 controller (which leaks and needs rebuilt). I know we can get a sulfur smell and black film in our toilets.

One of the main issues at this point is no pressure. When we moved it 3 years ago it was ok but as my large family (8 of us now) have put a heavy tax on it and brought it to it's belly.

I am looking for recommendations on how to move forward with fixing this thing. I would like to keep my pentair/flex filter system but really need to get my pressure fixed and ensure the sulfur/black slime goes aways.

thank you for the input.

Hey fatboy. Those pictures look familiar. Glad you posted them here. Might also want to post them in the water softener forum. Lot of people here with experience in treating water like that, which I am not.

Yeah.. I figured you would see them.. lol. I am pretty frustrated at this setup at the moment. After talking to someone that finally gave me answers on how the ozotech system works I am pretty sure it is no longer a option.. had some other $2000 recommendations but that seems crazy to have to go that route...

I want to follow up with the rotten egg odor isn't all that bad.. it's just an every now and again appear..and I think it is coming from the hot water. I can run water outside directly from the well or even go in the well house and not have an issue with the stinky bacteria poo.. lol

I contacted LSU Agcenter by email yesterday evening.. they asked that I call them today to discuss what level of testing is needed. Once I have that completed I will post the results.

Thanks again..

They may specify that you need a level of testing that is less than you should want. They may be only oriented on health items. For example, they may not think that measuring iron, manganese or hardness is needed, but you really want those numbers.

If you are near chemical plants, you might want testing for organic chemicals too. Click Inbox above.

Well I found my pressure problem last night.. the water heater tank blew out the bottom. Not sure why I didn't look at this first but I am going to replace it tonight.

The well house still needs to be worked on correcting the issues from neglect by past owners.
