I had my water tested recently and I am looking for some opinions on a couple of contaminants that were found. I believe they said that it is pretty hard water, very salty. But besides that, 3 volatile contaminants were found.

The 3 contaminants were:

Dichloromethane, Tetrahydrofuran and Xylene. My question is regarding the levels. I know in a perfect world there would be none of these detected, but are the levels found in my test of little concern or great concern? All 3 were barely above the minimum for detection. 0.003, 0.02, 0.002 mg/L respectively.

Here are the test results:

Does anyone have an opinion on how much I should be concerned about these contaminants and to what I degree I should try to treat them?

Thanks in advance.

Ron.
