Probably a simple question for some of you but I'm looking for some advice on a new installation. I will have a 3/4" water tap from the main supply water header at the street with about a 60' run to the house. Is there an advantage to using a 1" supply line from the street to the house or would you just use 3/4" pipe since the tap and valve at the street are 3/4"?

This will be connected to a PEX manifold inside the house.

Thanks for the help.

Yes.

Pressure drops are additive.
