Hi all,

I'm moving soon(ish) into an older apartment that is under extensive renovations right now. I noticed that the original (gray!) toilet was some 4" away from the wall, and with it gone, measured the flange. Sure enough, it's 14", so I assume the old toilet was for a 10" flange.

I've been fretting about the new toilet ending up 2" away from the wall (no new toilet installed as of yet), and was thinking about having a small firring wall put in. But then I doscovered the Toto toilets and UniFit. Love the Carolna II, but another twist arose. Of course. The bathroom water supply, IIRC, is on the right side; the Toto info calls for the supply to be "left of center".

Does this mean I can't use this Toto, or is there a reasonable workaround?

Thx!

Signed,

Not at all. If your toilet angle stop is to the right of the toilet, just run a longer flex connector to the tank.
