Water line vs. water pressure

Before you replace the line from the city, try connecting a garden hose from the meter to the house. If things work better, you'll know the water line is the problem. You can connect it to the house by attaching the hose to a hose bibb on the side of the house. The guys are right about the static pressure. The static pressure at the house should be the same as at the street even if it's connected with a 1/8" pipe.
