There is a good thing about people signing a petition without even asking what it is exactly. It shows that people want to improve our environment. We really need that. It is a start. I would like my great grandchildern someday to live in an environment that is less polluted with contaminants that can cause cancer, I would like them to breathe cleaner air, and not have to worry about eating fish from the rivers, etc; it is nice to see people are caring more.

I agree people should care Cookie, but people blindly signing a petition to ban water would be a very bad start.

Think what they were signing to ban was a chemical, not so much H2O, the chemical.
